Watchberry First Tasks
You’ve signed up for a WatchOverMe tracking account and are ready to install our Watchberry software. Below is a quick guided tour of the first things you must do in the following order:
- Installing Watchberry - how to download and install Watchberry on to your Blackberry.
- Over-The-Air (OTA) installation (easiest option) or
- Blackberry Desktop Manager installation
- Configure Permissions - Give Watchberry permission to use the GPS and Internet.
- Starting Watchberry - how to start and configure Watchberry software on your phone for the first time
- Watchberry Options - how to set tracking intervals and account settings
- Internet Settings - how to set your Internet settings
- Blackberry Enterprise Service Configuration - (Only applicable for customers running BES at their site)
- Tracking Times - how to track yourself between configured times
- GPS Configuration - how to configure your internal or bluetooth GPS
- Final Check - how to check you’ve configured Watchberry correctly
- Tracking your device - start tracking your mobile on our map display
- Tuning Watchberry Accuracy - Filter out any spurious tracking reports using our GPS tuning parameter
Optional things you might like to try:
- New Web Account - create a web account for yourself and anyone else and set your preferred timezone
- Name Your Mobile - you’re more than just a number so give your mobile a more meaningful name
